Richard Luddington has served as senior adviser, global advisory based in London at Rothschild & Co since 2021.
Prior to Rothschild & Co, Richard served as senior adviser to the CEO and senior management of GAVI on the COVAX Facility from 2020-2021. His vast experience includes serving as vice chairman, global capital markets at Morgan Stanley, Vice Chairman and managing director, global capital markets at UBS and managing director at JP Morgan, focusing on emerging and developing market clients. He has conducted in-depth work with sovereigns, agencies, financial institutions and corporations globally for over 30 years, predominantly on capital market strategies, focusing on debt and equity issuance, liability management, investor relations, reputational matters and rating agency activity.
Richard has been a long-standing member of the IIF Market Monitoring Group and is a member of the IIF Committee on Sovereign Risk Management.
Richard holds an M.A. in Modern History and an M.Phil in Management Studies from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University. He is also a fellow of his former school KCS Wimbledon.
