Remi Lederman Becker specializes in fintech and financial services communications, with experience in venture capital, family office and digital assets. Her work has spanned from helping Fortune 500 companies navigate reputational threats to startups growing their market awareness, helping to break through the noise and deliver business critical results. As a Senior Associate Director in APCO’s Washington office, Remi leverages her relationships with top tier beltway and financial journalists to position executives and their companies as thought leaders among key U.S. stakeholders. With a background in journalism and magazine-style content creation, her storytelling ability was honed across the globe, with work on a variety of international projects across the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Prior to joining APCO, Remi worked on the communications team at MongoDB, a tech software-as-a-service company, where she supported media and analyst engagement, including at the company’s international developer conference, MongoDB World, in New York City.
She is a recognized leader in local industry associations, having won the Public Relations Society of America’s National Capital Chapter 2024 Diamond Award and as a Washington Women in Public Relations Emerging Leaders finalist. Remi received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
