Ramya Ravichandran partners with corporations, foundations, and nonprofits to design and implement data-driven strategy, programs, and partnerships. She specializes at the intersection of technology and social impact. Ramya currently serves as an Associate Director and a member of APCO Impact and is based in APCO’s San Francisco office.
Ramya brings technical expertise and cross-sector experience to APCO. In a previous role, she worked as a technology consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP (EY) for global clients in the private sector. She drove projects spanning digital strategy, data analysis (including artificial intelligence and machine learning), and data storytelling. Prior to EY, Ramya worked across emerging technology and data policy within the humanitarian branch of the United Nations. Through her partnership with DataKind, a global data science nonprofit, she co-led a project advancing data equity with local governments.
Ramya holds a Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, both from the University of Virginia.
