Rachel Savey is a director in APCO Worldwide’s Washington D.C., based public affairs practice, where she manages issue advocacy campaigns for corporate and nonprofit clients.
Before joining APCO, Ms. Savey was director of the Innovators Policy Council at the Developers Alliance, an industry association representing the software industry, where she managed membership relations and advocacy projects. Previously, she worked for several years at DCI Group where she managed multi-faceted public affairs campaigns for corporate and nonprofit clients. Ms. Savey specializes in project management and has led teams on coalition management, crisis response, grassroots engagement, and external stakeholder relationships to achieve advocacy and public policy objectives. Prior to moving to D.C., Ms. Savey worked in the Executive Office of the Governor of Florida and on several regional and statewide elections.
A Florida native, she completed both her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science and Masters of Applied American Politics and Policy at Florida State University.
