Rachael Mierzwa has a deep expertise in leveraging data and technology to identify and segment audiences to develop and deliver highly-tailored campaigns, programs and messages designed to engage and mobilize stakeholders ranging from employees to decisionmakers and investors. Rachael brings this experience and analytical rigor to each of her projects while fostering creativity and innovative thinking among teams to deliver high quality results for clients. As a senior director at APCO in New York, she creates and manages large, integrated campaigns for brands and coalitions that have resulted in legislative and regulatory changes and improvements in reputation for her clients.
Prior to joining APCO, Rachael was a senior account executive at Vanguard Communications where she managed government and nonprofit client accounts with a focus on social change issues including children’s mental health, sustainable agriculture and energy. While at Vanguard, she also managed the organization’s social media accounts and served as editor of the corporate blog.
Her client work has earned awards from PR Week’s Digital Awards and PR News’ Social Media Awards. In addition to winning awards for her client work, Rachael was named to PR Week’s 2019 Women to Watch list.
Rachael received a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Salisbury University. She also received a Master of Arts in public communication from American University.
