Preston Grisham, director at APCO Worldwide, is a technology and public policy professional with a background in government, communications, public affairs and computer programming. Mr. Grisham has worked at all levels of government and consulted for some of the country’s largest companies on policy issues and communications strategy.
Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Grisham served as a director at TechSC, leading efforts to accelerate growth and innovation across the state, while providing a unified voice for the statewide technology community by supporting entrepreneurs, connecting peers and decision makers, and establishing the state as a global hub for innovation.
He previously served as a senior manager of public policy communications for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). In 2010, Mr. Grisham founded and managed a public affairs company in South Carolina, representing a variety of corporate and association clients in the state. He began his career on the staff of Republican Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Mr. Grisham graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science at the College of Charleston.
