Prerna Lenka is an associate consultant at APCO’s New Delhi office, specializing in policy analysis, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications. With over four years of experience, she supports clients in navigating policy challenges by conducting in-depth research, developing policy insights and representations, driving outreach initiatives and organizing thought leadership engagements such as roundtables and stakeholder consultations. She focuses on designing advocacy frameworks, stakeholder mapping and strategic consulting to help clients engage effectively with policymakers and key industry stakeholders.

Kindness leaves ripples that outlast the moment. I stand where I am today because of the quiet generosity of family and friends, but especially strangers who have shaped my journey in ways they will never know. A kind word, an unexpected act of generosity, a moment of understanding- all from people who had no obligation to care, yet did.

Prior to joining APCO, Prerna worked as a consultant with the Government of India, contributing to key policy initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts for the Ministry of Commerce & Industries. Her experience includes working on critical policy areas, facilitating discussions between government and industry and driving research-backed advocacy efforts.

Beyond her professional experience, Prerna has a strong background in thought leadership and policy discourse. She has authored an article titled “Child Sexual Abuse and The Need for Comprehensive Sex Education in India,” published in the Indian Journal of Legal Philosophy (Volume III, Issue 3). She was also part of the National Team supporting various initiatives under the UN75 Consultations across India through the Confederation of Young Leaders.
