Prateek Allapur is Chief of Staff in the office of APCO’s founder and executive chairman, coordinating a global team focused on client service and business development. He works closely with APCO’s teams and offices across 35 global markets, ensuring alignment in resources and capabilities and driving consistency of service across the firm.

At APCO, Mr. Allapur has designed and implemented reputation and communications programs for some of the world’s leading brands, advised government and corporate leaders on sensitive issues and leadership transitions, and worked with some of the world’s most admired foundations and non-profit organizations on social impact programs. He specializes in corporate strategy, market entry and geopolitical advisory.

Mr. Allapur brings a keen understanding of the global political economy to advise clients as they engage in a rapidly changing world. His experience has spanned the globe, having assembled and led client service teams in the United States, China, India, Switzerland, France, the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Israel, Kenya, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.

Mr. Allapur has lived and worked around the world, including in Washington, D.C., Beijing, Shanghai, Boston, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Relations from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A dual national of India and the United States, he is fluent in English and Hindi and has working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and French.
