Philipp Jago is an experienced corporate reputation advisor, specializing in corporate and strategic communications, reputation management, media relations and executive visibility. A a Senior Associate Director in APCO’s Financial Services and Technology practice, Philipp is particularly interested in how technology is reshaping the financial services landscape, and how these innovations can be harnessed to connect more people to the digital economy.

Prior to joining APCO, Philipp was an account manager at Caliber Corporate Advisers, a marketing and communications agency for fintech & financial services based in New York and Austin. At Caliber, he worked for a wide variety of clients, including large corporations, industry groups, startups and nonprofits. He also held a position with NY-based public relations firm Spector & Associates, which specializes in aerospace & defense, industrial/engineering and other high technology sectors.
Philipp earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies & Communication Studies from the University of Leipzig, Germany, which included two enriching semesters at Ohio University as part of its Transatlantic Capstone Program. He later completed a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication at Baruch College, City University of New York. He is fluent in English and German.
