Owen Stecco is an experienced corporate reputation advisor, specializing in crisis communications, reputation management and research and analysis. As a consultant in APCO’s Washington, D.C., office supporting the Reputation and Trilligent teams, Owen has worked with clients in the transportation and technology sectors to manage their reputation and effectively communicate their commitments to sustainability and community engagement.
Prior to joining APCO, Owen held roles at the U.S. Department of Transportation and supported candidates under the Michigan Democratic Party. In this previous roles Owen focused largely on political communications and research & engagement. Owen graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy and served as a policy analyst for the school’s social policy research center, focusing largely on the intersection of gender and social policy.
Owen serves as the co-chair of APCO’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group and advises clients on how to effectively engage with and uplift the community.
