Oli Leroy is a director at APCO based in the London office, where he specializes in litigation communications, dispute resolution and crisis management. Mr. Leroy provides strategic counsel and communications support on some of the largest and most complex international disputes in the world. His clients include governments, high net worth individuals and multinational corporations engaged in commercial litigation, international arbitration, white collar cases and asset recovery. Mr. Leroy has specific expertise in investor-state dispute settlement, rule of law and human rights – related claims, and countering disinformation.
Mr. Leroy currently leads litigation and arbitration within APCO’s geopolitical practice, Global Solutions. His previous experience includes helping the majority shareholders of an oil company enforce an arbitral award of over $50 billion; assisting a major mining company seeking to recover a stolen asset in Africa; countering disinformation around a long-running international dispute for a Ministry of Justice; defending the reputation of a businessman targeted by false allegations in a European country; helping a leading law firm defeat corporate raiding attempts against a major corporation in a CIS country; and helping a high net worth individual identify and recover assets in a global art-related dispute.
Prior to joining APCO in 2015, Mr. Leroy’s experience was at the European Commission and the cabinet of the Secretary General of the OECD. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University and a Masters in European Public Policy from University College London. He speaks English, French and Italian.
