Olga Ackerman is a seasoned public affairs and strategic communications professional with 15 years of experience spanning both in-house roles and consultancy. She brings deep expertise in healthcare and life sciences, complemented by a strong track record in other highly regulated sectors, including transport. Based in APCO’s Paris office, Olga serves as Senior Director and health practice lead for France, where she advises a diverse portfolio of innovative health companies. Her work focuses on strengthening stakeholder engagement and driving the evolution of health systems to better support innovation and patient outcomes.

Before joining APCO, Olga was managing director at FTI Consulting France, where she established and led the firm’s healthcare practice. Under her leadership, the practice was recognized in France as the top-ranked public affairs consultancy in healthcare by Leaders League. Her client portfolio included a major union representing the pharmaceutical sector in France, as well as leading French and international pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms and key players in the e-health space.
Olga began her career at Ipsen, a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in France, and has since held senior roles across leading consultancies in Paris, Brussels and London, advising clients in pharmaceuticals, biotech and medical devices. Her expertise also extends beyond healthcare. Olga has counseled the chairman of the Paris Bar, the French National Fisheries Committee, major transport and automotive companies and senior officials from several foreign governments. She also served as head of public affairs and communications at Sanef, a French leader in motorway infrastructure and mobility.
