Associate Consultant

Nick Berklan specializes in public policy and has done work in the public affairs and crisis practices. His expertise has helped advise the c-suite of corporations and organizations at critical reputational inflection points, including high-stakes class action lawsuits, labor organizing and the roll out of new government regulations. He is an associate consultant based in APCO’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining APCO, Nick had a wide range of internship experiences. Most recently, he interned at the Whole of Government Center of Excellence at William and Mary, where he worked on projects including supporting William and Mary’s partnership with NATO. Nick also has experience in public affairs and strategic communication from his time at a Washington firm. Additionally, he has worked in the offices of his elected officials on the state and federal levels.

In college, Nick was the president and CEO of the International Relations Club at William and Mary, an international nonprofit organization where he oversaw the entire club’s activities (club/board meetings, Model UN Competitions, philanthropy, liaison to administration).

Nick graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a double major in Public Policy and International Relations.
