Naoki Moriyama works with clients across a range of industries, providing strategic counsel in communication and government relations and undertaking roles such as media monitoring, stakeholder mapping and policy analysis. He currently serves as a project assistant at based in Tokyo.

Before joining APCO, Naoki worked at a government relations consulting firm in Tokyo. He provided global companies and government officials with analysis and presentations on Japanese regulatory policies related to the defense industry and taxation. He also interned for two years at Forvis Mazars in Japan, a global audit and accounting firm, where he provided accounting services to Japan-based international companies.
Naoki graduated from Tokyo International University with an English-taught master’s degree in international relations. He has also been involved in a volunteer research project on disinformation and international politics at the Institute for Global Governance Research at Hitotsubashi University. He is fluent in English and Japanese.
