Molly Clapperton is an associate consultant in APCO Worldwide’s London office, where she advises clients in the healthcare sector. She spent her first two years at APCO based in Brussels, focusing on public affairs in EU health policy.
Over her time at APCO, Ms. Clapperton has gained experience in association management, serving as a member of the secretariats for the European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance, the Global Advisory Board for Sexual Health and Wellbeing, and the Healthcare Distribution Association. She has a particular interest in cancer policy and has closely followed the development of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan over the past several years.
Prior to joining APCO in April 2019, Ms. Clapperton was a trainee in the Directorate-General for Communication at the Council of the European Union and worked in private-sector communications roles in Berlin and London. She has particular knowledge of film and theatre production, having previously worked for a German TV production company as a production assistant and founded her own production company for theatre and short film projects in 2014.
Ms. Clapperton holds a master’s degree in European public policy from University College London, from which she graduated first in class. She also has a bachelor’s degree in German literature from the University of Oxford. She speaks English and German.
