Mikaela Zimmermann is a consultant at APCO and is based in Brussels. She specializes in health care issues and is a member of the firm’s Health practice.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Zimmermann was a junior consultant at the FIPRA, a Brussels-based public affairs agency, where she gained experience working on multi-stakeholder coalitions focused on health care issues. She has previous experience working for pharmaceutical industry trade associations in Brussels and Ho Chi Minh City, as a health care systems intern and a project management intern respectively.
Ms. Zimmermann holds a Master of Global Health from the University of Glasgow and completed her Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Science in International Development and Global Public Health at Leiden University College. A German and American national, she has extensive international experience in Asia and Europe.
