Maud Sacquet is a director in APCO Worldwide’s European Technology practice, based in Brussels. She has extensive experience on a wide range of ICT issues including online platforms, e-commerce, content regulation and intellectual property.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Sacquet was a policy manager at Mozilla since 2019, where she served as interim head of its Brussels office and led the company’s European strategy on disinformation, artificial intelligence and data access. Prior to this role, Ms. Sacquet was a policy manager between 2015 and 2019 at the tech trade association Computer and Communications Industry Association. During that time, she worked extensively on the copyright and audiovisual reforms, as well as on the liability of online platforms.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Sacquet worked as a legal counsel for Yahoo in Paris. She holds a master’s degree in business law from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, a master’s degree in European business law from the University Robert Schuman of Strasbourg and a LL.M in regulation and technology from King’s College London. She is fluent in French and English.
