Mark Lamb is managing director of APCO Worldwide’s Riyadh office. Mr. Lamb specializes in integrated public relations and public affairs in areas spanning corporate communications, technology, PR, consumer marketing, reputation management and crisis communications. He has worked across the United States, Asia, Europe and Middle East. He has expertise developing integrated marketing communications campaigns for global initiatives and new market openings and has partnered with government affairs teams to establish grassroots advocacy programs, and managed communications and research initiatives for key clients.
Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Lamb completed successful tenures in senior leadership roles at Weber Shandwick Saudi Arabia, Microsoft and Starbucks in Seattle, and Ketchum in San Francisco. He started his career at Ogilvy PR in Hong Kong and Taiwan and was later associated with Edelman in China.
Mr. Lamb holds a Master of Arts in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bowling Green State University. He speaks conversational Chinese and some German.
