Associate Director

Margherita Malvestio is a public affairs and strategic communications professional specialized in multi-market advocacy campaigns. As an Associate Director in APCO’s Singapore office, she coordinates stakeholder engagement activities across Southeast Asia and guides clients through complex geopolitical dynamics that shape trade, digital governance and market entry. Margherita was previously posted in APCO’s Rome and Paris offices, where she gained extensive experience developing and executing political engagement strategies at the Member State and EU level for clients in the tech and retail sectors. Her work has focused on tackling competition, consumer protection, e-commerce and cybersecurity policy challenges, as well as helping clients build cohesive narratives that deliver impact against their public affairs and communications objectives.

Before joining APCO, Margherita worked at the Public Affairs and Communications directorate of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, where she supported the implementation of the organization’s outreach initiatives toward civil society and political stakeholders.

Margherita holds a Master’s degree in International Management from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Padua. She is fluent in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
