Lelia Busch is an associate director on the Office of the Executive Chairman (OXC) team in APCO’s Washington, D.C. office. As part of the OXC team, Lelia partners with C-suite and senior officials on business development and client growth strategies. She serves as the project manager for several key clients, including a Top 15 DC client.

Lelia focuses on strategic planning and implementation, often leading large and multifaceted client workstreams. Her diverse portfolio of clients spans across the higher education, clean energy and sustainability, nonprofit, defense and national security and transportation sectors. Lelia has also worked closely with affiliate partners in various markets and manages several global partnerships.

Prior to joining APCO, Lelia worked as a research assistant at Georgetown University, where she researched international terrorist groups and counterterrorism tools. Before that, she interned at Fintrac Inc., an agricultural development firm, where she researched the connection between land tenure systems and malnutrition in East Africa.

Lelia holds a Bachelor of Science in International Politics with a concentration in International Law from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C.
