Laura Svites is an art director on APCO’s Studio team, based in Washington, D.C. She utilizes a wide range of expertise, including brand identity, integrated campaigns, print design, motion graphics, video storytelling and photography, to develop creative solutions that solve client issues and resonate with key audiences. She has worked for a number of different clients and industries, including Pfizer, Liberty Mutual, Nuclear Energy Institute and non-profit work.

Laura started her journey at APCO as a design intern in 2017. Prior to joining APCO, she held several other design internships, including positions at the Department of Defense Army Multimedia Visual Information Division, Amalgamated Bank and James Madison University Office of Admissions. She also served two years on the Board of Directors for the D.C. chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and supporting an inclusive local design community.
Laura has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in studio art from James Madison University.
