Laura Reynders, senior digital strategist, leads APCO’s digital practice in Brussels, working with clients across a range of sectors on digital and social media strategy, creative concept development and campaigns of both a public affairs and corporate nature. Her work involves regular contact with key players in the EU Institutions and requires the ability to translate complex positions into tangible messaging for a range of audiences.
Having been based in Brussels for almost ten years, Ms. Reynders has an in-depth knowledge of policy communication, international business development and up-to-date digital tactics that resonate with international audiences. Her digital campaigns have been awarded at global PR Weekly awards and her client portfolio has included an array of global corporations in the technology, financial services, agriculture, retail and transport sectors, alongside policy coalitions and EU industry associations in sectors including energy, food & drink and packaging.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Reynders worked for global PR agency Weber Shandwick and at the British Embassy in Brussels, where she was the communications coordinator on topics such as International Trade, for which she created and managed digital platforms and advised the British Ambassador to Belgium, UK Foreign Office and wider teams on digital strategies. She also worked as a Trade and Investment Advisor for the Embassy, advising CEOs on investments in the UK and business development.
Ms. Reynders holds a transatlantic master’s degree in International Communications and Public Relations from the University of Manchester (UK) and the University of North Carolina (USA). She also has a bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology.
