Kim Gagńe is a senior counselor with APCO Worldwide, dividing his time between London and Brussels. Most recently he served as senior director of industry affairs in Brussels where he served as the primary manager of Microsoft’s pan-European advocacy campaigns.
Mr. Gagne joined Microsoft in 2004, serving in a variety of leadership roles in EMEA and developing particular expertise in campaign development and execution. In 2012, he relocated to Asia where he spent two years as director of public sector policy. In 2014 he became senior director of industry affairs in Brussels. During his time with Microsoft, Mr. Gagne led teams of in-house personnel and consultants and managed global campaigns to solve complex legal, competition and policy challenges.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Gagne was a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State and a partner in a Washington, D.C., law firm.
Mr. Gagne holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a master’s degree from Middlebury College and a juris doctorate degree from Duke University’s School of Law. He is a dual United States and UK citizen.
