Kelly Chrystal is a director at APCO Worldwide and is based in the California office. She brings a depth of experience in developing and implementing philanthropic strategies for high-profile individuals and multinational corporate clients.
Prior to joining APCO, as Director at Global Philanthropy Group, Ms. Chrystal specialized in advancing clients’ philanthropic agendas across diverse issue areas including economic empowerment, gender and racial equality, global health and girls’ education. In delivering high-touch and tailored strategies to corporate, foundation, and high-net worth clients, she cultivated an expertise in designing and scaling innovative partnerships, pilot programs and communications campaigns.
Ms. Chrystal’s prior work experience at the Inter-American Development Bank, Kiva.org, and FINCA International focused heavily on microfinance, financial inclusion, and social entrepreneurship. She has also worked on economic development and public policy at a boutique consultancy in Washington, D.C., and earlier in her career, she led sales and business development at a Latin American travel startup in Lima, Peru.
She holds a Master of Science in Global Business and Finance from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a bachelor of arts from New York University.
