Founder and CEO, Collective

Kellie Wagner is a sought-after speaker and DEI practitioner, as well as the founder and CEO of one of the leading diversity, equity, and inclusion consultancies, CollectiveA DEI Lab. Motivated by her experiences as a Black woman working at the intersection of customer experience and brand experience in the tech and creative spaces, Ms. Wagner launched Collective to change the way the workplace engages with its most marginalized team members.

With the mission of bringing dignity and connection back into the “office,” Ms. Wagner tapped into her personal experiences driving grassroots change through employee-led DEI councils to create an approach to DEI that merges human-centered, design-thinking principles with a data-informed lens that has allowed Collective to stand out in the ever-expanding DEI space.

Since its inception in 2017, Collective has worked with forward-thinking companies like Spotify, Glossier, Food52 and Taco Bell. Ms. Wagner’s thought-leading work on equity, intersectionality, and mental health has been featured in Forbes, GQ and New York Magazine, and she has been a featured speaker at places like Culture Amp’s Culture First conference, HR Redefined, The Muse, Alo Yoga and HR Transformed.

Ms. Wagner is a graduate of NYU’s Managing Workplace Diversity & Inclusion program and holds an MFA from The New School.
