Katy Patton, senior copywriter and content strategist in Raleigh, NC, funnels her energy into finding unique and interesting ways to deliver compelling messages. She contributes many creative concepts to the team, as well as copy across a variety of media, including print, online, radio and video.
Prior to APCO, Ms. Patton worked on corporate branding and issues advocacy campaigns for three years at Edelman’s advertising subsidiary, Blue. Her campaigns produced quantified results and shaped public opinion about clients that included American Petroleum Institute, Monsanto, NHTSA and GE Aviation.
Ms. Patton also gained extensive experience in television, radio, print, online, direct mail and non-traditional media during her five years at Arlington-based LM&O Advertising. While there she worked on a diverse range of consumer-facing campaigns, including the Army National Guard, Chevy Chase Bank and Metro.
Ms. Patton graduated with honors from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in French.
