Executive Adviser, Author, Advocate

Katja Iversen is an executive adviser, author, board member and global advocate on sustainability, purpose driven leadership, global health and gender equality. Over the years, she has worked with leaders from companies like Unilever, Arla, J&J, P&G, Novo Nordisk, Chanel, HP, Merck, McKinsey, MSD, and many others.  She has advised leaders from various United Nations agencies, the World Economic Forum, OECD, and the World Bank, just as she has trained Fortune 500 leaders in cross cultural management. 

Ms. Iversen has been a member of Prime Minister Trudeau’s and President Macron’s G7 Gender Equality Councils, an adviser to the Clinton Global Initiative, on MIT Solve Challenge’s Women and Tech Leadership Group, as well as a member of various working groups shaping the Sustainable Development Goals and many other related areas. 

Ms. Iversen’s main Board of Director expertise lies within strategy development and partnerships, communications and marketing, human relations, including diversity, inclusion and belonging, and the broader ESGs. She currently sits on the Boards of Directors of INXO, which recently launched the groundbreaking passion powder, XO, and on the Board of Directors of 4LifeSolutions, an innovative social impact company providing safe water solutions. In addition, she sits on Unilever’s Sustainability Advisory Council. 

Ms. Iversen has keynoted, spoken at, and participated in panels at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, the United Nations General Assembly, the EU, MIT, Harvard, the Clinton Global Initiative, The Skoll Forum, The ICCA Congress, the Women Deliver conferences, the Reykjavik Global Forum for Women Political Leaders Forum, OECD’s Forum for Development, MIT, Harvard, The Hilton Humanitarian Symposium and Prize Ceremony, and innumerable other events. 

She has authored op-eds and commentaries on ESG-related issues published in the Guardian, Huffington Post, The British Medical Journal, The Guardian, the Telegraph, El Pais and countless other media outlets. She has been a guest in various podcasts and radio programs and been featured or quoted in a myriad of news outlets and magazines like The New York Times, The Washington Post, The BBC, Al Jazeera, The Lancet, Voice of America, The Guardian, Reuters, The Associated Press, The Times of India and most Danish media. 

In 2018 she published a successful book on Women, Networking and Leadership, and over the years she has contributed essays and content to various other books and publications.
