Katharina Qi is a consultant at APCO and is based in Shanghai. She specializes in policy advisory and stakeholder engagement and is a member of the firm’s Government Affairs team. Ms. Qi advises multinational companies across the financial services, manufacturing and consumer goods sectors and helps them decipher policy implications, influence multi-layer stakeholders, and form government affairs strategies.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Qi served as a policy advisor in the Political Division at the New Zealand Embassy to China, providing reporting on political developments, administrating NGO funding allocation, and engaging with stakeholders in government and think tanks.
She is fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
