Kate Spinello has more than ten years’ experience in project management, team development and strategic communications. Kate currently serves as North America Business Development Lead based in APCO’s Washington office. In 2013, she joined APCO to help clients achieve their goals in rebranding, public policy, crisis preparedness and reputation management. She also worked to secure new business opportunities by building dynamic teams and managing the process to ensure the highest quality outputs.

Kate is the director of APCO+. APCO+ is a program designed for entry-level professionals to spend 18 months learning about the core facets of PR such as advertising, media relations, digital and social media, writing, research, design, new business and more.

In 2018, Kate pursued a passion project in the wine industry as the director of sales and marketing at a winery in Virginia. She earned her Level 1 certificate from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
