Jonathan Shearman is a consultant based in Brussels covering EU public policy in the APCO Brussels Tech Practise. He provides campaign support, strategic insights, communication expertise and regulatory/ policy advise for some of the world’s leading tech, space and defence companies.
Jonathan has 6+ years of experience across government, consultancy and industry. He has a proven track record in Brussels and the UAE managing multi-entity PR campaigns and high-impact strategic launches across tech, logistics, defence and space sectors. This includes extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies and government institutions on complex stakeholder engagements, corporate reputation management, media relations and policy, regulatory and communications strategies.
Prior to joining APCO, Jonathan worked in EU public policy at Amazon, supporting the company with the rollout of their AI tools and Amazon’s Project Kuiper. In addition to these roles, he worked in European Commission and European Parliament press & communication teams.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in EU Affairs from the University of Nottingham, and is fluent in French and English.
