Jiewei Zhang brings extensive experience in policy research and analysis, specializing in geopolitical developments and the evolving policy landscape in China. As a Senior Consultant in APCO’s Beijing office, he primarily focuses on advising and supporting clients in the technology sector.
Previously, Jiewei worked in the Political, Press and Information Section of the Delegation of the European Union to China, conducting domestic political policy monitoring and analysis as well as supporting communication with Chinese authorities to maintain the cooperative mechanisms between the EU and China. He also organized bi-lateral exchanges and site visits conducted by EU Member States to foster dialogue and relationship building.
Jiewei graduated from Tianjin Normal University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received his Master of International Relations degree from the University of Melbourne. He also conducted years of study and research experience at the University of Sheffield.
