Associate Director

Jenny Muchnikoff is a strategic advisor, helping clients navigate complex global issues at the intersection of corporate reputation, geopolitics and international affairs. As an Associate Director in APCO’s Washington office, she counsels C‑suite leaders, multilateral officials and ministerial principals across the U.S., MENA, Europe, Latin America and Asia‑Pacific. Jenny specializes in multi‑stakeholder convenings and senior‑level engagement, advising clients on cross‑border reputation, narrative strategy and high‑impact stakeholder outreach. Her experience spans the world’s most influential forums – including the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, the UN General Assembly, and the COPs – where she has supported principals with speaking opportunities, bilateral meetings and strategic programming. Jenny also leads select AI advisory work, translating emerging technologies into practical counsel.

Prior to joining APCO, Jenny was a senior consultant at Browning Environmental Communications, where she shaped industry narrative on climate, biodiversity and equitable finance for organizations including Conservation International, Verra Carbon Standard and the United Nations Development Programme. She began her career at YES& Agency in Alexandria, Virginia, advising federal agencies and nonprofits including FEMA, NOAA, Microsoft and the ACLU on strategic communications and public engagement.

Jenny earned a Master of Arts in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, with a focus on political and impact communications, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University, magna cum laude, with a minor in Russian Studies. She is based in Washington, D.C., and previously lived and worked in Riyadh.
