Former Israeli Special Envoy on Energy; Founder and CEO of T.A.I. Group

Itay Tagner’s 25 years of combined experience in Business and Diplomacy, are spread over 4 continents as a senior business executive, consultant and as a senior diplomat.

As the founder and CEO of T.A.I Group which focus on creating business and investment partnerships in the MENA region, he promotes an open 2-way flow of Ideas, Capacities and Capital as a basis to capitalize on regional opportunities. Specializing in the Energy, Environment, Food Security and Health sectors, T.A.I works with Investors, Entrepeneurs and leading applied research institutes to create regional synergies.

Mr. Tagner is also a co-founder and managing partner at Keren – Yam, a VC that invests in promising Blue Economy start – ups. Our focus is on marine sectors that are human & environmentally friendly, including: Aquaculture, Marine Biotech, ShipTech & Port Tech, Marine Carbon Capture and Sustainable & Renewable Blue Energy.

Prior to his current initiatives, Mr. Tagner served as the Israeli Special Envoy on Energy, a capacity in which he had a leading role in formalizing international and regional business support structures in the Gas, Electricity and Renewables industries. Later, Mr. Tagner was the first head of the Israeli embassy in Bahrain and literally built the relations between both countries on the ground.

Mr. Tagner holds academic degrees in Public Management (B.A) and in Organizational consulting (M.A) and Conflict Resolution & Negotiation (M.A).
