Hayes Nolte is an associate director in APCO’s Chicago office. Since joining APCO as an intern in the summer of 2018, he has been integrally involved in the Corporate Communications and Crisis & Litigation practice groups working with clients in pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, trade associations and sports. Situations where he has direct experience include communicating both internally and externally corporate stances on societal issues, antitrust-related allegations, litigation communications, union organizing and ensuing bargaining, corporate restructuring and relocation and rifts with the president of the United States.
Mr. Nolte specializes in providing day-to-day counsel to clients related to positive and proactive strategic communications, media training, identifying thought leadership opportunities, crafting key messages and media monitoring. Outside of corporate communications, he has been involved in media relations for several client teams.
In 2022 he was named to the 30 under 30 list at the Golden Trumpet Awards hosted by the Publicity Club of Chicago.
Mr. Nolte graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and was also a three-year letter winner on the varsity football team.
