Associate Consultant

Hannah Bettsworth is a specialist in rare diseases, including rare cancers, and health technology assessment / market access. As an Associate Consultant in Brussels, Hannah works on a wide variety of policy research and narrative development projects, including the development of a good practice framework for global rare disease policy. She also coordinates multi-market analyses of the state of play in certain disease areas, and has a track record of engaging with EU stakeholders on awareness of and research funding for blood clotting disorders.

Prior to joining APCO, Hannah worked for Rare Diseases Europe (EURORDIS) on the first-ever Brussels Rare Diseases Week, developing a strong knowledge of EU-level rare disease policy and supporting patient advocates to have effective meetings with parliamentarians.

Hannah speaks fluent French and Spanish, alongside basic Dutch. She has a Masters degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.
