Hala Hayek is the deputy managing director of APCO’s Saudi Arabia team. She oversees multiple client accounts and leads strategic communications initiatives. Throughout her tenure at APCO, Hala has played a key role in communications strategy and delivery for several high-profile programs supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda.

Her experience includes supporting the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s Riyadh Transport Office—spanning Riyadh Public Transport, road infrastructure and traffic management—as well as leading the launch of Soudah Development’s corporate strategy and its mountain tourism destination, Soudah Peaks. She has also supported major engagements for AlUla Development Company and Aseer Investment Company, among others. In addition, Hala spearheaded marketing and communications activities for the Saudi Pavilion’s pre-opening at Expo 2020 Dubai, under the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning.

A seasoned leader, Hala supports APCO’s global government projects and business development efforts, with a focus on the Saudi market. Her expertise spans communications strategy, project management, stakeholder engagement, brand alignment, activations and crisis communications. Before rejoining APCO, she held roles across the region, including an earlier tenure with APCO in Qatar (2015–2016).

Earlier in her career, Hala served as head of communications for Red Bull in Lebanon and Qatar, leading editorial, digital, events and product marketing. She is also the founder of Apostrophe, a Lebanon-based communications agency specializing in digital and creative production. Hala has collaborated with organizations including the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radio Lebanon and the Italian Embassy in Lebanon on research and communications initiatives.

In 2019, she was appointed by the Lebanese government to represent the state at the Arab Women Organization for a two-year term.

Hala holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication from Université Saint Joseph (USJ) in Lebanon (with great distinction), completed a preparatory year in History at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from USJ (2010). She is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
