Project Consultant

Garrett Ferguson is a project consultant based in Los Angeles on APCO’s West Coast Team. Garrett joined APCO after graduating from UCLA in 2023, and immediately made an impact through his work in organizational change management and education surrounding artificial intelligence (AI). He is the author of APCO’s global internal AI education newsletter, the Byte Size Bulletin, which has been instrumental in keeping teams up to date on relevant AI news and the most effective AI prompts to increase the speed and efficiency of client work. Garrett serves as an expert area leader in technology for APCO’s Digital Team, where he consults with client teams on operationalizing workstreams with AI.

In addition to his work in AI, Garrett supports numerous crisis and issues client accounts with emphasis on corporate reputation, thought leadership, and corporate communication, as well as various West Coast-based non-profits with the Impact team.

Prior to joining APCO, Garrett interned for Congressman Don Beyer and Warner Music Group, and worked as the PR Director for UCLA’s Campus Events Commission, which worked with famous talent to put on free events for students. Fun fact: Garrett produced his own show on UCLA Radio called God Complex, which explored Greek and Roman mythology through the lens of modern music.
