Fredrik Nyberg, a member of APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council, is the former chief executive of Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), the region’s only trade association for the medical devices, equipment and in-vitro diagnostics industry, headquartered in Singapore. Mr. Nyberg brings over 30 years of healthcare industry experience, twenty-five of which were spent in Asia-Pacific. He has held senior sales/marketing, general management and strategic consulting positions, working with some of the largest global medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical multinationals. He has worked across the region and lived in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.
Mr. Nyberg is currently managing director Asia Pacific at MedTech Innovator, a leading global non-profit medical technology accelerator. He serves as Board Member and advisor to several healthcare startup ventures. Mr. Nyberg currently also serves on the Steering Committee of Singapore Stanford Biodesign, an affiliate of the world-renowned innovation program led by Stanford University. He is a member of the project evaluation panel of the National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC).
Mr. Nyberg is a frequent speaker on the healthcare industry in Asia-Pacific. He holds a BSc from Gothenburg University, Sweden, and an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
