Faiza Riaz specializes in philanthropic strategy implementation and support, digital strategy and management, and program management. She helps clients achieve impact in a wide range of areas including gender equality, environmental sustainability, health and human rights. In addition, she brings her skills in grants management and quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to her client engagements. Faiza currently serves as an Associate Director at APCO and is based in Los Angeles. Faiza is a member of the Impact team where she helps develop and implement high-impact philanthropic strategies for innovative brands, nonprofits and high-net worth individuals.
Faiza previously worked at the Los Angeles chapter of the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, where she helped advance pioneering campaigns around increased social protection for underserved women and girls. Her experience also includes partnership development for a nonprofit implementing water sanitation projects in Uganda. Earlier in her career, Faiza worked at a San Diego-based family law firm where she managed case portfolios, conducted legal research and supervised company finances.
Faiza holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international development from UCLA and is fluent in Urdu and French.
