
Emma Lin is a project assistant at APCO and is based in Shanghai. Ms. Lin provides strategic counsel in communication and government relations through media monitoring and industry policy analysis.
Before joining APCO, Ms. Lin was a political affairs intern at the United Nations Operations and Crisis Centre at the UN Headquarters in New York. She provided senior UN leaders with a 24/7 common operational picture of developments in 14 UN peacekeeping fields as well as integrated crisis response support. Ms. Lin also interned at the Institute for China-America Studies and International Committee of the Red Cross, where she was responsible for research, policy analysis, and event organization.
Ms. Lin graduated from John Hopkins University with a master’s degree in international economics and China studies, specializing in international affairs and China’s foreign policy. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in media, culture, and communication from New York University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
