Emma Fallside is an Associate Consultant for Storybook, working across client and media relations, media outreach, and production work at APCO. She joined as an intern in 2023 after finishing her undergraduate degree, and started working with Storybook soon after. She has done a range of work with Storybook in different markets, from documentary production in the United States, to secondment with the Munich Security Conference in Germany for the Storybook Live Studio. She is experience working with international media in particular, including networks in local markets and wider-ranging global platforms.
It’s about the journey, not the destination.
In university Emma worked with several different organisations, including the International Rescue Committee, and the Tony Blair Institute, primarily working on communications and media in an international context. She was also one of the editors at the King’s College student newspaper, all of which helped her develop acumen around how to work with and within media organisations.
Emma has a degree in History and Political Economy from King’s College London, where she specialised in the history of institutions and energy and environmental policies. In 2025 she moved to New York to work part time with APCO whilst pursuing a qualification in environmental sciences at Columbia University.
