Elodie Ricoul is a senior consultant at APCO and is based in Brussels where she is a member of the firm’s Financial Services team. At APCO, Ms. Ricoul specialises in advising international companies and financial institutions on EU policy, institutional relations and corporate strategies in the financial sector plus the cross-cutting agendas for sustainability and digital.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Ricoul was an advisor in global law firm DLA Piper’s global trade and government affairs team in Brussels. She advised international companies, trade associations and NGOs on multiple policy areas spanning sustainability, financial services, trade, competition, human rights, EU funding programmes, environmental, energy and digital policies. She worked with high-profile companies to guide their communication and corporate strategies and support senior executives.
A French national, Ms. Ricoul began her career in European and public affairs at the French Insurance Federation (FFA) in Brussels. As a policy advisor, she led the roles of technical and public affairs expert to represent the interests of the French insurance industry. She was responsible for priority policy areas including sustainable finance, anti-money laundering, life insurance, retail investments, pensions and health issues.
Ms. Ricoul holds a master’s degree in international and European business with a strong focus on economics and corporate responsibility.
