Elizabeth Sen is chief client officer for APCO Worldwide’s Middle East & North Africa region. Based the firm’s Dubai office, she engages the organization in managing client relationships, revenue and profit.
Ms. Sen brings to her position a deep understanding of client expectations; the entire lifecycle of the client and what metrics actually matter to understand these components. She draws upon this experience to oversee the company’s business development process and day to day client servicing needs. Also, in her role, Ms. Sen creates a persistent client-focus in the actions the company takes and drives the organization to work together for optimum client experience delivery. She counsels clients on positioning strategies, managing sensitive situations, and directs strategy and implementation. Her focus areas include holding companies and multinationals in the real estate, education, retail, technology and tourism sectors.
For APCO, Ms. Sen utilizes her proven expertise in team development, mentoring and problem solving to support team leaders in their individual transformation journeys. Through embedding competencies to improve and innovate, she empowers employees to deliver value in their client deliverables.
In addition to her role as chief client officer, Ms. Sen leads APCO’s sustainability practice in the MENA region, and shares operational responsibilities for managing one of APCO’s most dynamic hub offices globally.
With two decades of experience in the PR industry, Ms. Sen has handled global projects in corporate communications, issues management and crisis management.
Previously, she was the deputy managing director for APCO’s operation in the Arab Region where she added strategic value to the firm’s crisis and corporate responsibility teams. Prior to joining APCO, she worked at Promoseven, Weber Shandwick, Bates PanGulf, MSLGroup and Burson-Marsteller.
