
Elizabeth Sen
Executive Director, MENA Gender Practice
Elizabeth Sen is an executive director based in APCO Worldwide’s Dubai office. She is a passionate communicator and a results-oriented business leader with over two decades of experience in strategic communications and advocacy. In her current role, as a strong and committed champion for gender parity, she heads APCO MENA’s Gender Practice. She is also responsible for the region’s marketing strategy and initiatives.
With a deeply embedded network across APCO and among high-profile industry stakeholders, Ms. Sen has led several award-winning client assignments involving demanding mission-critical mandates, organizational change management, as well as sectoral marketing and public relations on a global level.
Previously, she served as Chief Client Officer and Deputy Managing Director for the MENA region, and managed key client relationships, revenues and profits for the firm. Holding operational responsibilities for managing one of APCO’s most dynamic hub offices globally, she brought to her role an intuitive understanding of client expectations, client lifecycle, and success metrics.
In line with her dual mandate, she also supervised the company’s business development process. Client centricity, providing counsel on positioning strategies and seamlessly managing sensitive situations and program implementation are her areas of expertise.
Her primary portfolio of clients included holding companies and multinationals in the real estate, education, retail, technology, healthcare and tourism sectors. Ms. Sen is a leader who is invested heavily in team development, mentoring and problem solving and in enabling the teams she works with to advance on their career transformation journeys.
Prior to joining APCO, she worked at Promoseven Weber Shandwick, Bates PanGulf, MS&L and Burson-Marsteller. Ms. Sen holds a master’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Devi Ahilya University. She is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
