Dr. Jeanette Fielding started Confident Strategy Group after 25 years with some of the world’s most significant consumer products, food and health care companies. She has a reputation for building corporate reputation, managing reputational risks, building stakeholder relationships and developing strategies and policies for critical issues. She has served in senior leadership roles in global public affairs, sustainability and ESG policy, corporate communication and issues management for companies such as Bayer, Mars and Pfizer. Most recently, she served as Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer for Upfield—the world’s largest plant-based food company. Prior, she led Health Strategy and Women’s Health for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Australia and New Zealand; and Head Nutritionist for Wyeth Nutrition, Australia and New Zealand.
Dr. Fielding has held executive positions in several industry organizations, including serving as founder and a board member for the European Alliance of Plant-Based Foods, committee member for the International Self Care Federation, president of the Asia Pacific Infant and Young Child Nutrition Association, technical chair of the Infant Formula Nutrition Council, as well as serving on committees for International Life Sciences Institute- South East Asia and the Australian Food and Grocery Council.
Dr. Fielding is a change-maker who brings international agility to strategic communications, public affairs and ESG, combined with a deep expertise in every region, including emerging markets. She has a strong record of advocating for policy change and action at multi-lateral organizations.
Jeanette holds a Ph.D. in nutrition and food science, a Master’s degree in human nutrition, a Bachelor of biological science,and a Graduate Diploma in business administration.
