Devyn McDonald is a director in APCO Worldwide’s public affairs practice, based in the firm’s Raleigh, NC office. Since joining APCO, she has assisted clients with grassroots and grasstops mobilization, coalition creation and management, policy research, message development and campaign integration. Ms. McDonald has worked on issue advocacy campaigns tackling some of the most contentious political issues in North Carolina – including tax reform, health care, higher education policy and economic development.
At APCO, Ms. McDonald has worked on a variety of issues including grassroots advocacy, global digital brand advocacy, animal agriculture transparency and international media relations for B2B and tech companies.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. McDonald worked on a U.S. Senate campaign as a fundraising and communications assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
