McDonald

Devyn McDonald is a Senior Director in APCO’s Raleigh office, and a member of the Public Affairs practice. Her work focuses on advocacy and public affairs campaigns, issues management and crisis response and community and stakeholder engagement efforts. Devyn uses her unique experience working at the intersection of public affairs, advocacy and crisis management to advance clients’ legislative and regulatory priorities and protect their license to operate.

Devyn has experience across heavily regulated sectors including energy, infrastructure, health care, education, aviation and capital markets. This work includes advising boards and C-Suite leaders, building and establishing public affairs teams and frameworks, in addition to strategy and campaign development.

Prior to joining APCO, Devyn worked on a U.S. Senate campaign as a fundraising and communications assistant. She’s a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
