Dana Sleiman has over 15 years of experience across corporate and consumer communications, reputation management, profile raising, crisis management and stakeholder engagement. She has been specializing over the past eight years in creative and cultural industries communications. As a director in our Riyadh office, Dana is leading the creative team supporting the Diriyah Biennale Foundation for the Islamic Arts Biennale 2025 in Jeddah.

Prior to joining APCO, Dana was a director at Brunswick Arts for over seven years, where she worked on cultural and arts projects, including the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi in 2017 and supporting more than a dozen international exhibitions across five years for the museum. She was an advisor for The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation on the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi project, led the development of stakeholder engagement strategies for Dubai Culture’s Chairperson, managed communications for five editions of the UAE National Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia for both the art and architecture exhibitions, as well as oversaw two Abu Dhabi Art editions.
Other work she supported during her time with Brunswick Arts included serving as the advisory to the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts on building their in-house communications functions, working with the Recording Academy, Berklee Abu Dhabi opening, L’ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels Dubai on its launch of its first nomadic pop up in the UAE, supporting the launch of Hay Festival Abu Dhabi in 2020, the launch of Al Hosn Festival, Qasr Al Hosn, Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Festival, UAE British Council – UK/UAE 2017 Year of Creative Collaboration and the UAE’s Crown Prince Court Abu Dhabi – Countdown to Zero: Defeating Disease exhibition 2017.
Prior to her work at Brunswick Arts, other projects Dana has been involved in includes launching McDonald Arabia’s ‘Your Right to Know’ platform across the GCC, conducting communications for Starwood Hotels (pre-merger with Marriott), Arabian Travel Markets, Dubai Tourism, launching Dubai Design Week in 2015, working on two editions of Art Dubai, destination management communications for Yas Island, as well as consumer PR for hospitality and retail brands.
Dana is an Arabic and English bilingual communication expert, who holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
