Dale Vieregge
Senior Director, Digital Strategy
Dale Vieregge, senior director of digital strategy in APCO’s Tokyo office, brings more than a decade of professional experience directing the design and implementation of digital products and campaigns, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and leveraging research, testing, and analytics to refine strategy, optimize tactics, and improve performance.
Prior to joining APCO, Dale was a lead consultant at Aquilent, where he advised senior HHS officials on using digital tools and tactics to engage diverse stakeholder groups and to promote their policies, programs, and priorities. In this role, he developed relationships and contacts within CMS, FDA, ACF, HRSA, AHRQ, and NIH as well as ASPA and ASPR.
Dale began working for federal clients in early 2010, and was fortunate to oversee the design, development, and promotion of Teach.gov, the web home of Education Secretary Arne Duncan’s initiative to promote teaching as a profession, and HowTo.gov, a one-stop shop for citizen service and digital government best practices.
Previously, Dale worked for a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller, managing both quantitative and qualitative research that shaped the public affairs, crisis, branding, product launch, and marketing efforts.
Dale has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and an master’s degree from the University of Michigan.
