Colin Reisser is an associate director in APCO’s Brussels office, where he co-leads the Sustainability, Energy and Mobility practice, focusing on regulatory and policy issues in sustainability, chemicals, and circular economy. During his time at APCO, Mr. Reisser has helped clients across Europe and the Middle East including a national renewable energy company, a leading apparel brand, and an international association.
Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Reisser worked in energy exploration and production in the Western United States, specializing in geological and geographical analysis. Mr. Reisser also worked as a research associate at the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies, performing field research on energy and resource development in the Russian Arctic. Mr. Reisser co-authored a textbook, Energy Resources: From Science to Society, for Oxford University Press, published in 2019.
Mr. Reisser holds a Master of Arts in geography from the George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in history and German from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
