Head of Climate & Sustainability Practice, MENA

Christophe Guibeleguiet advises clients on their transition to be a sustainable organization and to take distinctive action that positively impact society. He works across strategy, business transformation and communications. Over three decades, Christophe has supported sustainability leaders like Nestlé, Unilever, IKEA, Danone and Anglo-American and many others in retail, fashion, luxury, manufacturing, construction, energy, mining, hospitality and tourism on how to respond to complex environmental and social challenges, embrace bold solutions and advocate for change. Its area of expertise spans across GHG emissions, water and waste management, biodiversity loss, plastics, fast fashion and food security. He currently serves as the head of the Climate & Sustainability Practice for APCO’s MENA offices.

Prior to joining APCO, Christophe was leading Brunswick Group’s sustainability leadership advisory services for EMEA and Asia where he advised clients on ESG strategy, helped them deliver a Just Transition, define a Net Zero pathway, embrace circularity and limit their impact on nature. Previously, he was co-CEO of the sustainability insights and strategy firm GlobeScan where he led the firm’s international expansion, B Corp status, and shift to an advisory firm. Christophe also successfully launched Edelman’s strategic insight function for Europe, leading on the Trust Barometer for the continent. He started his career as a business journalist then becoming Latin America correspondent for the financial newspaper La Tribune (France).

Christophe has a master’s degree in Political Science from Panthéon-Assas University in Paris. He is trilingual in English, French and Spanish and also speaks German and Portuguese. He is a regular speaker and panel facilitator at international conferences to moderate and discuss business action on climate and biodiversity, corporate social activism and sustainability leadership.
