Managing Partner, 10K Partners; former global head of communications at Mylan and former vice president of communications at IMS Health

Christine Dusek, member of APCO’s International Advisory Council, has more than 25 years of diverse experience in strategic and corporate communications, serving as senior communications officer and member of the executive leadership team at two publicly held life sciences companies and agency practice leader at a top independent public relations firm. She has managed across several practice areas including the corporate communications, reputation management, crisis and issues, and financial/investor relations communications, and has advised the board of directors and executive teams at many Fortune 500 companies over multiple sectors including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, financial services and fintech, insurance, real estate, and private equity, restructuring and alternative investment services.

Most recently, Ms. Dusek is the co-founder and managing partner of 10K Partners, a corporate advisory communications firm. She is responsible for the strategy and operations of the firm, client management, and strategic partnerships to drive the firm’s corporate advisory service innovations.  She also serves as senior board and C-suite advisor to the firm’s top biotech, financial services, and private equity firm portfolio clients. Prior to starting 10K Partners, Ms. Dusek served as global head of communications for Mylan Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for the global corporate communications strategy for the company worldwide including corporate reputation and brand, executive visibility, employee communications, public relations/media relations, ESG/Sustainability communications, and crisis and issues management communications. Ms. Dusek also served as vice president of communications at IMS Health (now IQVIA) were she led all external, internal, philanthropy, and investor relations communications, including the financial communications strategies around the company’s go-private transaction with TPG, and the integration communications around seven acquisitions and one spinoff.

Ms. Dusek also served as executive vice president and practice leader at Ruder Finn where she led the development of the firm’s crisis management offerings and built and managed the financial communications and corporate communications practice areas. She served as a senior corporate communications advisor to the firm’s top biotech, pharmaceutical, insurance and financial services clients. While at Ruder Finn, she and her staff earned 3 Silver Anvils and 4 PR Awards for innovative client work in reputation management, investor communications and crisis management.

Ms. Dusek began her career as an investment banker in asset and mortgage-backed finance at Bankers Trust Company. She earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and completed her executive MBA at Columbia University.
